The 1st Exposition:
35, Boulevard des Capucines, Paris
In the former studio of Nadar in 7 or 8 rooms spread over two floors.

The 2nd Exposition:
11, Rue le Peletier, Paris
In the galleries of Durand-Ruel spread over three rooms.

The 3rd Exposition:
6, Rue le Peletier, Paris
In a large appartement on the second floor spread over 5 rooms.

The 4th Exposition:
28, Avenue de l’Opéra, Paris
On the first floor of a newly build house spread over 5 rooms.

The 5th Exposition:
10, Rue des Pyramides, Paris
(The poster added: à l’angle de la Rue Saint-Honoré)
On the mezzanine of an unfinished building;
the many rooms were noisy, small and poorly lit.

The 6th Exposition:
35, Boulevard des Capucines, Paris
This time not in the former Nadar’s rooms (as the first exposition),
but in five small rooms at the back of the building,
which were low-ceilinged and poorly lit.

In the upper floors in a large, airy, well-lighted hall.

In a suite of five rooms above a restaurant.

How were the expositions named?

The 1st Exposition:
Société anonyme des artistes peintres, sculpteurs, graveurs, etc.,
première exposition 1874, catalogue

Note: this is the only time that other type of artists, namely sculptors and engravers are explicitly mentioned,
whereas also at the later expositions there have been sculptures and engravings exhibited.
