Which paintings did Vignon exhibit in 1880? On this page you will find an accounted impression of the 9 paintings that Victor Vignon showed at the 5th ‘impressionist’ exposition in 1880 (catalogue numbers 216-224). All works were landscapes and many were made west of Paris, in Chatou and surroundings. I will render the pictures more thematically, see also the thematical overview and the topographical overview. Note: If you double click on the first (of a cluster of) pictures and then click on full screen, you can create a slideshow. Enjoy!
Explication: Sometimes I render more than one option. I will also indicate if a work is an option for another (solo) exhibition or auction sale. My suggestions are mostly based on title, theme and sometimes the date. Most suggestions are more or less uncertain (=? / =?? / =???), sometimes the suggestions are sure (=) or almost sure (=!?). Several works are interchangeable, see also the thematical overview and the topographical overview. See for more info the account. See link for info on the subscriptions. For info on the used sources see at the bottom of the main page about Vignon.
