Levert impressionist exposition 1877

Impressionism, a historical reconstruction:

Jean-Baptiste-Léopold Levert

(1819-1882)

at the 3rd ‘impressionist’ expositions in 1877

an impression of his exhibited paintings

What pictures did Léopold Levert show in 1877?
At the 3rd ‘impressionist’ exposition in 1877 in Paris Jean-Baptiste-Léopold Levert showed 6 landscapes (catalogue numbers 80-85). None of my main sources render a suggestion (R90II; R2). 3 reviews made some general remarks, but didn’t give descriptions (R90I). The other problem is that there are hardly oil paintings known of Levert, they all have a general title and are not dated. This makes identification impossible.
Still, I want to honour Levert, who joined the ‘impressionist’ expositions 4x, which is more than Cézanne did. And I want to give an impression of what landscapes he exhibited in 1877. Therefore I will render undated oil paintings of Levert depicting general landscapes as most uncertain suggestions. To compare I will also render drawings of Levert with similar scenes (in general terms). I will also render oil paintings of other artists depicting a more specific similar scene. (See also the account.)

Explication:
For no. 80 I render an oil painting of Levert depicting a general landscape, so not specific of Limousin.
For no. 81 (study at Malesherbes) I render to compare a drawing of Levert. I couldn’t find an oil painting made by other artists in Malesherbes, at least not in a pre-impressionist style which Levert used.
For no. 82 depicting a road on the plateau of Fontenay I render to compare a drawing of Levert depicting a road which seems to lie an a plateau and also an oil painting of another artist depicting the plain of (closeby?) Artois.
For no. 83 depicting a sandpit in the forest of Fontainebleau. I couldn’t find any work of Levert that depicts a sandpit and not even a work depicting the forest of Fontainebleau. I render to compare an oil painting of another artist, which also depicts a sandpit in the forest of Fontainebleau.
For no. 84 depicting a study of a forest I render to compare an oil painting of another artist, which also depicts a forest and is also called a study.
For no. 85 depicting a (water)mill at Touviaux I render to compare a drawing of Levert depicting an unlocated watermill and also an oil painting of another artist depicting a watermill (in another village).
