Impressionism, a historical reconstruction:

Federico Zandomeneghi

at the ‘impressionist’ expositions

1879 + 1880 + 1881 + 1886

Which art-works did Zandomeneghi show at the ‘impressionist’ expositions?
On this page you will find an accounted impression of the art-works that were shown by Federico Zandomeneghi at the ‘impressionist’ expositions in 1879 + 1880 + 1881 + 1886. In total he exhibited 31 pictures / art-works, most of them were portraits / figure painting. Note: If you double click on the first picture and then click on full screen, you can create a slideshow and also zoom in. Enjoy!

In 1879 Zandomeneghi probably exhibited 5+1hc=6 works, including 4 portraits. In 1880 he exhibited 8 works of which 2 portraits and 4 fans. For 1 portrait I couldn’t find a suggestion, nor for 2 fans. In 1881 he showed 5 works, including a dining room panel for which I couldn’t find a suggestion. In 1886 he showed 12 works, including 8 pastels. For one painting I couldn’t find a suggestion. For several works I render more than 1 option. Many options are (very) uncertain or just to compare, see also indentification of a painting. See the link for an account of my choices (with references, info, discussion, location on Google-maps). My main sources are Moffett (=R2), Berson (R90I+II)  and the Catalogo Generale made by the Fondazione Enrico Piceni (=CG=R204). For the other sources, also of the pictures, see at the bottom of the main page on Federico Zandomeneghi. For explanation of the subscriptions, see here
