Introduction: On this page you will find an impression of the 11 works that Mary Cassatt showed at the 6th ‘impressionist’ exposition in 1881, including 7 pastels. All works were portraits / figure paintings (catalogue numbers 1-11). Note the palet of colours in the ‘white’ cap of the lady in no. 2.
