On this page you will find references to the sources I used on all the pages on this website.  On the pages itself you will find references like R3. This refers to the number of the source mentioned on this page. For example: R3,p23 refers to page 23 of Walther, 2013. And: R31,no52 refers to catalogue number 52 of Raeburn, 1985. At the bottom of the pages of the artists you will find additional references (mostly from the internet). When showing pictures I try to give the number of the Catalogue Raisonné; therefor I use the abbreviation ‘CR’. On this page I will also render links to internet pages, notified as iRx. I first will render an overview:
