Redon, 1886 expo

Impressionism, a historical reconstruction:

Odilon Redon

at the 8th impressionist exposition in 1886

an impression of his exhibited art-works

Which art-works did Redon exhibit in 1886?
On this page you will find an accounted impression of the 15+1hc works that Odilon Redon exhibited at the 8th ‘impressionist’ exposition in 1886 (=8IE-1886; catalogue numbers 124-138+hc). Probably he showed 15 drawings in a more symbolist tradition and probably 1 fan outside the catalogue (=hc). I render the pictures merely by catalogue number. Note: If you double click on the first (of a cluster of) pictures and then click on full screen, you can create a slideshow. Enjoy!

Probably Redon showed a fan outside the catalogue, but I couldn’t find a suggestion. Though not indicated in the catalogue probably all the other art-works were drawings. Some suggestions are (very) uncertain or just to compare, sometimes I render two options for 1 catalogue number. For the fan that was probably exhibited outside the catalogue (=hc), I couldn’t find a suggestion. See link for the identification of the paintings. See for more info the account. See link for info on the subscriptions. For info on the used sources see at the bottom of the main page about Odilon Redon.
