Pissarro 1882 expo

Impressionism, a historical reconstruction:

Camille Pissarro (1830-1903)

An impression of his paintings

at the 7th ‘impressionist’ exposition in 1882

Introduction:
Here below you will see an impression of the 36-2+2=36 pictures that Camille Pissarro exhibited at the 7th ‘impressionist’ exposition of 1882 in Paris (catalogue numbers: 101 – 136+hc2), including 10 gouaches and 1 tempera. I render the pictures by form, technique and in a more thematical order . The numbers 23+24 are left out of the catalogue and two works were shown outside the catalogue (=hc). Some sources render the numbers 122-124 differently, see the link for an account. See the link for an explanation of the subscriptions and the used sources below at the main page about Camille Pissarro.  Note: If you double click on the first picture (of a cluster) and then click on full screen, you can create a slideshow. Enjoy!
