Introduction: On this page you will find an impression of the 18 paintings that Victor Vignon exhibited at the 8th ‘impressionist’ exposition in 1886 (catalogue numbers 218-234ter). Most of the paintings were made in Jouy-le-Comte and in Auvers. I will render the pictures more thematically. Sometimes I render more than one option. I will also indicate if a work is an option for another (solo) exhibition or auction sale. My suggestions are mostly based on title, theme and sometimes the date. Most suggestions are more or less uncertain (=? / =?? / =???), sometimes the suggestions are sure (=) or almost sure (=!?). Several works are interchangeable, see also the thematical overview and the topographical overview. See for more info the account. See link for info on the subscriptions. For info on the used sources see at the bottom of the main page about Vignon. Note: If you double click on the first (of a cluster of) pictures and then click on full screen, you can create a slideshow. Enjoy!
