Lebourg at the Salon

Impressionism, a historical reconstruction:

Albert Lebourg

(1849-1928)

At the Salon

and other exhibitions

Which pictures did Lebourg show at the Salon and other exhibitions?
Apart from the the 4th ‘impressionist’ exposition in 1879 and the 5th ‘impressionist’ exposition in 1880, where he exhibited in total 30 paintings and 20 drawings, Lebourg also exhibited at other exhibitions. On this page you will find an impression of the art-works that Lebourg exhibited at the Salon (=S) and it’s successor de la Société des Artistes Français (=SdAF). Lebourg sometimes exhibited at other exhibitions like Les XX in 1887 (=4XX-1887), the Exposition Universelle in 1900 (=EU-1900), at regional exhibitions, at several International exhibitions, including La Libre Esthétique in Brussels in 1910 (=17LE-1900) and at some Centennial exhibitions. Most pictures Lebourg exhibited at the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts (=SNBA) between 1890 and 1914. I just render some pictures he might have exhibited. I hope anyway it will give an overview of the kind of works Lebourg made and the location that he depicted. See the links for an account and an explanation of the subscriptions of the pictures. See at the bottom of the main page on Albert Lebourg for the used sources.
Note: If you double click on the first (of a cluster of) pictures and then click on full screen, you can create a slideshow. Enjoy!
