On this page you will find internet references (=iRx): links to interesting websites with pictures and info on Impressionism and the impressionist artists. (Note: not yet all the links are active.) I will also give short info on the contends of the website. I use some catagories (you can search on them):

An excellent database with the catalogues of the Salon (Paris 1673-1879), the Salon des Refusés (1863+73+75+86), the ‘expositions impressionniste’ (1874-86), the Salon (de la Société) des Artistes Français (1880-1905), the Salon des XX (1884+85 in Brussels), the Salon des Société National des Beaux-Arts (1890-1910; -/-1900+01+04+05), Salon de la Rose-Croix (1892-97), the Salon d’Automne (only that of 1904) and many other Paris, regional and international exhibitions. Note: several catalogues are (not yet) in this database.
Possibility to search per artist. Not secured.
Database pictures: The best database with >250.000 pictures. Possibilities to search on artist, art movement, museum, etc. Possibilities to search in alphabetical, chronological order, etc. No advertisements. Please support them! (Not secured.) It seems that the website is off-line since early 2020.
