Who were the partakers of the 6th ‘impressionist’ exposition?
There were 14 partakers in the 6th ‘impressionist’ exposition in 1881, including Cals who (posthumously) was not in the catalogue (=hc). After the exposition 3 partakers would not return anymore to the ‘impressionist’ expositions, including  Jean-François Raffaëlli, who was refused by others. Because of this exclusion Degas and 5 other partakers wouldn’t join the next ‘impressionist’ exposition in 1882.

On this page you will also find the catalogue numbers, links to info, pictures, an account and sometimes a (topographical / thematical) overview.
See also the links for the full 1881 catalogue, a slide-show, the used techniques and general info on the 6th ‘impressionist’ exposition.
Explanation: hc = hors catalogue = outside the catalogue.
