Clarification: In 1879 Degas showed 5 fans, Forain 4 and Pissarro 12!. In 1880 Morisot rendered 1 fan, Pissarro also 1 and Zandomeneghi 4. In 1886 Morisot exhibited ‘éventails’, I assume it were 6 fans. Pissarro showed 1 fan and probably Redon also, but outside the catalogue. So at 3 expositions there were probably 35 fans exhibited, which is 1,7% of all the 2053 art-works exhibited.
On this page I will render 35 pictures of fans.
For 4 fans I have no suggestion, namely:
4IE-1879-198, La toilette du matin, Éventail (Pissarro);
Of 5 fans I only have a black and white picture:
4IE-1879-196, La grande route, printemps, Éventail
4IE-1879-199, L’étang de Montfoucault, Éventail; appartient à M. Ch… (Pissarro);
8IE-1886-94-2 +3 +4, Éventails (Morisot).
Of 3 fans I only have a black and white picture, but I render also a coloured fan to compare and 2 for no.192:
4IE-1879-192, Soleil couchant, Éventail, appartient à M. G. C…
4IE-1879-194, Clair de lune, Éventail
4IE-1879-195, Vue de Pontoise, Éventail, appartient à Mlle L… (Pissarro);
Of 2 fans I only have a black and white drawing:
4IE-1879-103, Éventail; appartient à Mme Martin
4IE-1879-104, Éventail; appartient à M. Angelo (Forain);
For 2 numbers I render other fans to compare:
5IE-1880-229, Éventail.
5IE-1880-230, Éventail. (Zandomeneghi).
Of 2 pictures the quality is (very) poor:
8IE-1886-94-1 +6, Éventails (Morisot).
Of several fans the suggestion is (very) uncertain.
