at the Salon

and other exhibitions

Introduction:
On this page you will find an impression of some the art-works  that Joseph (or: Giuseppe) de Nittis exhibited at the Salon (=S) from 1869-79, it’s successor the Salon de la Société des Artistes Français in 1884 (=SdAF-1884), the Exposition Universelle in 1878 (=EU1878), at Georges Petit (=GP), the Musée du Luxembourg in 1912 (=MdL1912), in Venice in 1914 (=Venice1914) and at other exhibitions. I render the pictures by form, thematical and partly chronological. Several suggestions are uncertain. See the link for an account. See link for an explanation of the subscriptions and the used sources below at the main page about Giuseppe de Nittis. Note: If you double click on the first picture and then click on full screen, you can create a slideshow. Enjoy!
