Introduction: Regional exhibitions in France were an alternative for the partakers of the ‘impressionist’ expositions to show their works and promote oneselves. What pictures did they show at what exhibitions? On this page you will find some (uncertain) suggestions of what works they did show from 1874 till 1886, so during the years that the ‘impressionist’ expositions were held. You will also find some works of related artists.
Note 1: the information on these regional exhibitions is limited and fragmented.
Note 2: sometimes works were sent in by the Durand-Ruel and other art-dealers or from private collections.
Note 3: I will render the works per location, than by form, than alphabetical on the artist name and than chronological when it was exhibited.
Note 4:If you double click on the first (of a cluster of) pictures and then click on full screen, you can create a slideshow. On a smartphone or laptop you can also zoom in. Enjoy!
