Pictures of Alfred(-Bernard) Meyer are rare: What art-works are known of Alfred Meyer? What art-works did he exhibit at the first ‘impressionist’ exposition in 1874 (=1IE-1874; see) and at the Salon (=S) + de la Société des Artistes Française (=SdAF) + de la Société National des Beaux-Arts (=SNBA)? Pictures of the art-works made by Alfred Meyer are hard to be found. Often the quality is poor and many are in black and white. Here below I show what I could find, to give an impression of the works of Meyer. Most are enamels. I render also some original paintings that Meyer did copy, see account. When possible I render (uncertain) suggestions for what Alfred Meyer could have exhibited.
In books on Impressionism I could find no picture at all. I had to find the pictures on very different websites, see the additional references on the main page about Alfred Meyer. Note: If you double click on the first picture and then click on full screen, you can create a slideshow. On a smartphone or laptop you can also zoom in. Enjoy!
