Intro:
On this page you will an overview of 160+ paintings of Gustave Caillebotte that are used on this website (about 28% of the known paintings). The emphasize is on the works shown at the ‘impressionist’ expositions (in 1876, 1877, 1879, 1880 and 1882), at the retrospective in 1894. The works will be shown in a chronological order.
Mostly there will be referred to the second version of the Catalogue Raisonné of Marie Berhaut of 1996, that renders 565 paintings (=R102=2CR or CR); see online version at WPI (=iR183); see also the overview on caillebotte.net (aR8). This second version has different numbers as the first version of 1878 that renders 477 paintings (=R101=1CR); see online version at WPI (=iR184). You can find the number after the ‘CR’ code.
